Gilles is a dedicated French Medical Doctor. His practice gathers the latest knowledge in medicine, a strong care coordination, a comprehensive wellness awareness and life education.
He has honed through his experience some valuable medical skills such as medical cross-thinking, effective problem analysis and decision-making techniques.

After undergoing his Medical Studies at the prestigious Medical Faculty of Montpellier, which is also the oldest Medical Faculty in the world, Gilles went to the University of Reims where his thesis received very honorable distinction with the congratulation of the jury. He was also granted an award for his dissertation on the Burn-out and its life impact.
Gilles has a deep interest in philosophy where the primary concern is the questioning of reality, existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, language and life.

Dr James Matthews is a passionate, young doctor who shares a keen interest in his patients’ health and wellbeing. While he was brought up in Brisbane, he holds many fond memories of time spent in the Northern Rivers with his family as a child. He is so excited to now be part of the local community here in Ocean Shores.
James believes that patients are most healthy when they have a good connection with their GP. As a result, he strives to build rapport with every patient he sees and is well known for his gentle nature and sense of humour.
James obtained his combined medical and surgery degree at the University of Queensland in 2015. Previously he completed his Bachelor of Biomedical Science and Bachelor of Applied Science with First Class Honours at Queensland University of Technology. He has also completed the Sydney Child Health Program through the University of Sydney. He is a keen learner and is always looking for ways to advance his knowledge. More recently, he and his colleagues were published in the Medical Journal of Australia for research surrounding fitness to drive assessments.
James has experience in Indigenous health and prioritises connecting those of our Indigenous community with great health care. He is also particularly interested in paediatric medicine, mental health and skin cancer treatment and prevention. James may also assist patients seeking implant insertion or removal, reproductive health and chronic disease management.
Outside of work, James enjoys martial arts classes at the Brunswick Gym and watching movies at home with his wife Jamie and fat, ginger cat Arnie.
