Dr James is a passionate, young doctor who shares a keen interest in his patients’ health and wellbeing. He believes that patients are most healthy when they have a good connection with their GP. As a result, he strives to build rapport with every patient he sees and is well known for his gentle nature and sense of humour.
James obtained his combined medical and surgery degree at the University of Queensland in 2015. Previously, he completed his Bachelor of Biomedical Science and Bachelor of Applied Science with First Class Honours at Queensland University of Technology. He has also completed the Sydney Child Health Program through the University of Sydney.
At present, James is completing his Masters in Skin Cancer but is already an expert in skin cancer diagnosis and management. He offers the Ocean Shores community skilled prevention advice, thorough skin checks and cancer removals with excellent cosmetic results. James can assist his patients in paediatric medicine and chronic disease management. He is also trained in Implanon insertion or removal, and family planning.
Outside of work, James enjoys martial arts classes at Point Break in Mullumbimby and spending time at home with his wife Jamie and their growing family.
